Direct Relief is delivering a shipment of personal hygiene items and eye-care supplies to Sacred Heart Community Clinic in Round Rock, TX, to assist those affected by the recent wildfires. Many community members are seeking refuge in temporary shelters set up in churches and schools as hundreds of thousands of acres are scorched in the region, according to news reports.
Direct Relief’s emergency response team is in frequent contact with partners in the region and will work to fill requests for aid as they come in.
