Direct Relief is thrilled to be one of 20 nonprofits featured in Flipboard‘s recent launch of its “Big Ideas” category. This new category “celebrates innovative ideas, great speeches, industry thought leaders and inspirational organizations.”
Flipboard is an digital social magazine that allows people to discover and share content in a visually compelling way by curating personalized magazines. As part of “Big Ideas,” the Direct Relief team is curating three magazines featuring content such as original blog posts, relevant news articles, and thought-provoking reads related to improving the health and lives of people in need.
- Direct Relief - featuring selected posts from our blog
- Tracking the Healthcare Safety Net - looking at issues facing America’s safety-net health care curated by our Director of U.S. Programs, Damon Taugher
- Humanitarian Innovation - thinking at the intersection of science, tech, health and humanitarian assistance curated by our Director of Research and Analysis, Dr. Andrew Schroeder
The “Big Ideas” launch coincides with Flipboard’s new desktop readership capability, meaning you don’t have to have the mobile app to keep up with what we’re reading – anyone can read the magazines right in their internet browser.
