Direct Relief has long benefited from strong ties to medical companies that contribute pharmaceutical products, medical equipment, and supplies that are in scarce supply and urgently needed around the world. We also benefit from innovative corporate giving practices, such as the Johnson and Johnson "produce to give" program, in which J&J manufactures products for the express purpose of making them available to charitable causes that lack financial means to purchase such items.
