Hatch Named Chairman of Direct Relief International Board of Directors

SANTA BARBARA, CA (March 16, 2007) Direct Relief International announced today that its board of directors has elected Stanley C. Hatch as its chairman.

Hatch, a board member since 2003 and vice chairman for the past two years, succeeds previous chairman Denis Sanan, who served in the office from 2005 to 2007 and reached his term limit as chair.

A founding member of Santa Barbara law firm Hatch & Parent, Hatch served as its managing partner from 1968 to 1991. An active member of the community, Hatch has served as president of the State Water Contractors Association, chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Fielding Graduate University, where he was also honored as a Fielding Fellow, and as executive vice president of LawNet, Inc., a national organization dealing with the field of legal technology. In the Santa Barbara area, he was a member of the board of the Santa Barbara Regional Chamber of Commerce and the advisory board of the Breast Cancer Resource Center.
