Direct Relief CEO Meets With Global Business Leaders in Germany

Santa Barbara, Calif. – Direct Relief International President and CEO Thomas Tighe is joining with 40 CEOs of Fortune 500 companies this week in Frankfurt, Germany in event hosted by SAP, the world’s largest business-software firm.

California-based Direct Relief International runs SAP enterprise software to manage its global humanitarian aid programs, which span 60 countries and furnish essential medicines and medical supplies to locally run facilities in developing countries and in response to emergencies.

Tighe, the only CEO of a nonprofit organization attending, was invited by SAP co-CEO Henning Kagerman to join CEOs of dozens of the world’s largest corporations at the annual SAP CEO Event and also to speak on a panel of CEOs during the off-the-record meeting.
