Q: What is the purpose of the 100-Day Campaign?
A: The 100-Day Campaign is raising awareness about and support for safe births in the poorest areas of the world.

Q: What is a safe birth?
A: A safe birth happens when mother and baby get the right care when the baby is ready to be born. It includes having a trained healthcare worker there who has the right supplies and equipment ready to help.

A: Direct Relief provides midwives with kits that contain medicines, supplies, and equipment needed for safe births.

Q: What’s in the midwife kits?
A: The midwife kits contain things midwives need to help mothers deliver their babies safely. They include items like sutures, gloves, gauze, a stethoscope, a thermometer, alcohol wipes, soap, and more.

Q: What does $25 do?
A: For every $25 raised, a midwife will be provided with enough supplies in a kit to assist with one safe birth.

Q: Where are the midwife kits going?
A: This year, midwife kits are being sent to Somaliland, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Nepal, South Sudan, and Mexico.
