2011 Year in Review

As we begin a new year, please accept my heartfelt thanks for your role in Direct Relief’s work. Particularly in this time of continued economic hardship, your involvement has special meaning.

Organizations don’t make decisions and do things, people involved with organizations do. At Direct Relief, you are one of those people. So, it seems somehow inadequate to share thanks only because you have given to Direct Relief when I know that you have, in a very real way, given direct relief to people in so many different ways and so many places last year.

I am deeply thankful for your involvement, and I hope this helps you understand how and why your participation was so important to people served by Direct Relief.

Thank you again for being part of Direct Relief, and best wishes during this holiday season.

Very truly yours,

Thomas Tighe
President and CEO

P.S. Here is a slideshow with a few highlights of what the organization we’re both part of accomplished last year in communities across the United States and around the world.
