Moving hundreds of tons of medical across the world is a complex effort, especially when the final destination is a war zone.

To date, Direct Relief has shipped more than 300 tons of medical aid, including temperature-sensitive therapies such as insulin, cancer treatment medications, thyroid medications, antibiotics, trauma care supplies, tourniquets, and much more, to Ukraine since February 24, 2022. The organization has also provided more than $12 million in financial support.

In this series of 1-minute videos, three Direct Relief staff members share their perspectives on what it takes to respond to Ukraine as the war continues to unfold.
