Chief Executive Officer
Amy Weaver is Chief Executive Officer at Direct Relief, a leading humanitarian organization delivering medical aid to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty, disaster, and conflict. She assumed the CEO role in May 2025, following a distinguished career spanning global finance, law, and public service.

Before joining Direct Relief as CEO, Weaver served as President and Chief Financial Officer at Salesforce, where she helped guide the company through a period of significant growth and transformation. Over nearly 12 years at Salesforce, she also served as Chief Legal Officer and led multiple global functions, including corporate communications, ethics and compliance, corporate development, real estate, and accessibility.
She began her legal career as a clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and served as a legislative aide in the Hong Kong Legislative Council through the Luce Scholars Program. Weaver went on to practice law at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in Hong Kong and at Perkins Coie in the United States, and later held senior legal and executive roles at Expedia Group and Univar Solutions.
A frequent keynote speaker, Weaver has addressed global audiences at the World Economic Forum in Davos, delivered the commencement address at Lehigh University, and co-chaired the Women Leaders Global Forum in Reykjavik, Iceland.
Weaver has earned distinction across the fields of law, finance, and executive leadership—reflecting both the scope of her expertise and the cross-sector impact of her work. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and has been named one of the Top 50 Women in Technology by the California Diversity Council and one of the Most Influential Women in Business in the Bay Area by the San Francisco Business Times. Her work has also been recognized with the Anti-Defamation League’s Distinguished Jurisprudence Award, the Award for Professional Excellence from the Harvard Law School Center on the Legal Profession, inclusion on the Financial Times’ Global GC 25 List, and recognition as one of Business Enquirer’s Top 10 Global CFOs.
Weaver has served on the boards of Habitat for Humanity International, Lehigh University, and the McDonald’s Corporation. In recognition of her board service, she was named one of the Most Influential Women Corporate Board Directors by Women’s Inc. magazine.
