Operational Update

Over the past seven days, Direct Relief has delivered 270 shipments of requested medical aid to 36 U.S. states and territories and 17 countries worldwide.

The shipments contained 6.1 million defined daily doses of medications, including overdose-reversing naloxone, chemotherapy medications, insulin, antibiotics, and prenatal vitamins, as well as medical supplies for Covid-19 response efforts, including personal protective equipment.

In the U.S., Direct Relief delivered 252 shipments weighing 36,999 pounds and containing 207,395 doses of medications.

The largest U.S. shipments by value (wholesale) went to the following organizations:

Globally, Direct Relief shipped more than 5.9 million defined daily doses of medication totaling 101,808 pounds.

Since January 1, 2021, Direct Relief has delivered 6,274 shipments to 1,449 partner organizations in 52 U.S. states and territories and 66 countries.

These shipments contained 70.9 million defined daily doses of medication valued at $306.4 million (wholesale) and totaling 2.5 million lbs. (1,250 tons).
