Operational Update: Medical Shipments Depart Globally, Covid-19 Vaccination Campaign Continues

Over the past week, more than 17 tons of medical aid departed for 36 U.S. states and territories and 17 countries.

Over the past seven days, Direct Relief has delivered 270 shipments of requested medical aid to 36 U.S. states and territories and 17 countries worldwide.

The shipments contained 6.1 million defined daily doses of medications, including overdose-reversing naloxone, chemotherapy medications, insulin, antibiotics, and prenatal vitamins, as well as medical supplies for Covid-19 response efforts, including personal protective equipment.

In the U.S., Direct Relief delivered 252 shipments weighing 36,999 pounds and containing 207,395 doses of medications.

Globally, Direct Relief shipped more than 5.9 million defined daily doses of medication totaling 101,808 pounds.
