Jen Lemberger served as the Research and Analytics Associate with Direct Relief from 2011-2015. As the first person at Direct Relief to hold this position, she was responsible for bringing monitoring and evaluation, data collection, data visualization, and geographic information systems more fully into individual programs and the departments in general. In her role, Lemberger worked on various Direct Relief program outcomes and research, including childhood pneumonia treatment and prevention in Liberia, obstetric fistula care globally, and diabetes treatment and control in the United States. Lemberger earned a Master of Public Health from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, where she focused on social epidemiology, health inequities, and women’s health. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Studio from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
