N95 Masks

Direct Relief maintains a stockpile of these custom-designed masks to be used during emergencies, including wildfires and disease outbreaks. Designed in consultation with leading safety experts, the masks have been shipped around the world to protect people exposed to toxic particulates in the air or other types of contamination.
After responding to California's devastating 2018 wildfire season, Direct Relief began stockpiling N95 respirators so they're at the ready for public distribution for future responses. Wildfires can send particles and debris into the air, which can exacerbate respiratory issues and contribute to long-term health impacts, which researchers are just beginning to discover.
